business is not used the reputation of the business is being jeopardized. Think
about the software tools that are being used. Are they reliable? Do the
autoresponders and merchant accounts work on a regular basis or are they constantly
going down? Customers will become frustrated if the systems don't work properly.
They will view it as a less than reputable person and company.

Sometimes problems with current business tools can include programs that don't work
together. For example, the merchant accounts have different gateways. Another
example, is that there is not an unsubscribe list from the Autoresponder that
removes their name from a marketing list for a specific product after they have
bought that specific product. Repeating the same marketing message, even though the
customer already bought it, can be very annoying to the customers and turn them off.
All Autoresponders should be separate. When a person opts in then they go to a
specific opt-in list. Then if they sign up for a seminar, for example, then their
information will be on the seminar list as well. If the Autoresponder systems do
not migrate then this person will still be on both the original opt in list and the
seminar list. This means that the customer will keep receiving emails asking them
to sign up for the seminar even though they have already signed up for the seminar.
This can be annoying to the customer. Plus, some times businesses offer discounts
on later marketing materials. So if the person who has already paid is still on the
opt-in list then they will find out that they paid the full price instead of the
discount price. They will contact you and demand the discount price as well.

It's a must to have a system that deletes people from original lists when they go to
a different list. For example, once they pay and are subscribed onto the paid list
then the system should automatically be removed from the non paid list. It is
important to be a white listed merchant. This status of the company means that the
emails will automatically be marked as a white listed email and not be eaten up by
the spam filter. The IP address could be blocked if not white listed. Learn from
